Plenary Lecture & Invited talks

On the first day, six plenary lectures and one invited lecture are scheduled, followed by fifteen invited lectures and one student lecture on the second day, making a total of eighteen invited lectures. We will invite internationally outstanding researchers from various fields on carbon materials to deliver a range of lectures, paving the way for the next generation of carbon materials. We encourage all participants to actively ask questions, with a particular emphasis on student participants.

Please pay attention to the topics the presenters are focused on and the research methods they are using to develop their work.

Social Events

Receptions (25th and 26th September)

On the first evening, after dinner, there will be ample time to share research updates and engage in discussions. If the weather permits, we recommend a stroll in the seaside park to enjoy the late summer breeze. On the evening of the 26th, join us for the Closing Reception, a great opportunity to reflect on the discussions and strengthen connections as we conclude the symposium.

Biochemical Industry Tour (27th September)

On the final day, participants can enjoy shochu with a tour of Kirishima Shuzo, exploring its production, tasting samples, and visiting a facility that converts biogas from shochu lees into electricity.
